What to expect on your Wedding Day} TASMANIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

So you have decided that I am your photographer for the most important day in your life. But what should you expect from me, Ally Ward Photography.
Below is an example of my commitment to you if you have chosen to go with my Ultimate package. This list is an example of the photographs that I will take throughout your wedding day.

Before the ceremony
As the photographer my job normally starts early in the morning. As the bride you should feel like a princess. I can be available at the hairdressers (or when the hairdressers arrive at the getting ready location) to photograph the hair and makeup process.
Photographs before the ceremony would include-
Bride and Bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done
Dress hanging, jewellery laid out, shoes etc.
Bouquets and buttonholes/corsages
Shots of the bride and bridesmaids getting ready
Bride putting on dress/veil with help from bridesmaids or mother of the bride
Close up of dress details
Putting on jewellery
Putting on shoes
Close up of bride holding bouquet
Mother and bride portrait
Father and bride portrait
Family shots
Bride spending moment alone
Bridal party walking down stairs/leaving the house
Bride and Father in wedding car/ walking to the ceremony

The ceremony
I will arrive at the ceremony approximately 10 minutes before the bridal party to be in position to photograph the crucial moments at the ceremony.
Photographs prior to the bride arriving would include-
Groom and Groomsmen waiting at the venue
Best man and Groom's
Groom alone
Groom with his mother/father/family
Photographs of the bride arriving and the ceremony would include-
Bride arriving in wedding car
Bride stepping out of car
Bride and Bridesmaids getting ready to walk down the asile
Bridal Party entrance
Bride walking up the aisle
Groom's reaction
Father/Mother giving bride away
Exchanging of vows
Exchanging of the rings
Participants such as readers, the celebrant, musicians etc.
The first kiss as husband and wife, and the moment after
Signing register

After the ceremony
After the ceremony it is traditional to have to photographs of family and important guests with the Bride and Groom.I always ask my Bride's to prepare a list of all the people you want in the portraits - family members and friends - and the specific combinations.
I then ask that list is with a guest who is familiar with everyone to work with me on the day and to assist on rounding people up.
Photographs after the ceremony would include-
Bride and Groom with her parents
Bride and Groom with his parents
Bride and Groom with both sets of parents
Bride and Groom with siblings
Bride and Groom with grandparents
Bride and Groom with close family members/ friends
Whole bridal party and all wedding guests
I also like to capture the informal moments, after all it your special day to enjoy and not to be posed all day-
Shots with friends
Bride showing her new ring to the guests

Bride, Groom and Bridal Party
After the ceremony there should be time before the reception for the wedding portraits – these photos usually take 1-2 hours depending on the location, the couple and the list of specific shots you require.
If you would like other guests other than the bridal party to come along please make sure they are informed of this and the location of the bridal photos prior to the day.

Portraits of the couple alone
Portraits of Bride on her ownPortraits of Groom on his own

The possibilities for these photos are endless, it all depends on the location, time and how many bridal portraits you would like taken.

Reception
If you have chosen the Ultimate package I am available to photograph your whole reception - or I can just stay for the 1st hour.
Photographs after the reception would include-
The reception space
Details and room decor shots - table settings, place cards, favours, candy buffet, centrepieces etc.
Wedding cake
Bride & Groom arriving
Cutting of the cake reception space
Speeches
The first dance
